I am a talented UX Designer / Product Designer / Experience Designer / Interaction Designer / Information Architect / Human Centered Design Practitioner with over 20 years of experience at Allovus, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Committee for Children, LiveAreaLabs, Nordstrom, AT&T, Amazon, Chase Bobko, and many other organizations.
I also have 6 years of experience in curriculum design, instructional design, technical training, and delivering in-person training for Intrepid Learning Solutions, Gilead / Corus Pharma, and Windermere Real Estate.
I love bringing the User to the table. I love teaching others about accessibility and working to ensure our sites, pages, and features will work for all. I love Human Centered Design and bringing the actual User to the table and learning from the User what works and what doesn’t work for them. I love numbers and I love using data to get us to a Data Driven Design that better reflects what our Users are doing on our sites. I love learning new design tools and showing other designers what I have learned and how best to use the right design tool to communicate the intention of the project / feature / site / story.
I am adept at creating and overseeing the creation of technical applications, mobile applications, and web site systems by utilizing knowledge of organizational schemes and design techniques to describe and produce sites that are best suited to meet the needs of the client and the audience.
My strengths include a passion for a terrific User experience, excellent presentation skills, vigorous attention to detail, strong oral and written communication, and an energetic and dynamic personality. I am highly organized, am flexible and have excellent problem solving capabilities. I have a demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects within tight deadlines and I work well both independently and as a part of a team. Specific deliverables I have been responsible for in the UX Design space include wireframes, prototypes, user interaction flow diagrams, icon design, image creation, and site maps.
